Implementation of the Digital Product Passport (DPP) as a challenge
The Digital Product Passport (DPP) is a concept that was developed as part of the »Digital Twin« and is currently undergoing further development as the »DPP 4.0« industry standard. However, many companies, especially SMEs, are faced with the challenge of successfully implementing this passport due to its high IT complexity. At the same time, legal requirements are increasing the pressure for implementation in various sectors.
Interorganizational Linked Data Product Passport as a simple solution
We offer you an easy-to-implement solution based on the future industry standard DPP 4.0. Our modules include:
- Introductory training: teaching the Linked Data principles and their relevance for sharing product-related process information.
- Consulting: The Linked Data Product Passport combines the central elements of a DPP in a lightweight implementation. It enables use both within a company and inter-organizationally by linking basic data on the Tier 3 workpiece with information from Tier 2, 1 and OEM and providing usage information.
- Proof of Concept (PoC): We make your existing data portable using knowledge graphs and linked data and offer functionality that goes beyond the current DPP 4.0 approach.
- In-depth training: Use of the developed PoC during handover.
The scope and combination of modules are individually tailored to your needs. We select suitable ontologies based on established standards and identify and integrate useful data sources. The PoC includes the development of a web platform to demonstrate the linked data principles, including the release of selected content and the integration of external sources.
