In the »Service Innovation« research focus area, we develop data-driven and people-oriented services, business processes and models in the digital transformation. The research focus emerged from the »Service Factory Nuremberg« project, which was funded by the Bavarian state government. The JOSPEHS© innovation lab in Nuremberg's city center was developed during this time and spun off in 2019.
Since then, we have been covering current and industry-relevant research topics under this umbrella and, in close cooperation with universities and industry, have been researching how sustainable innovations can be created with the help of AI and a consistent user and service orientation.
Our experts combine user-oriented methods and processes with technological knowledge in the fields of natural language processing (NLP), generative artificial intelligence (GenAI), information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT). This approach ensures that all relevant facets of service innovation are comprehensively taken into account: For a sustainable transformation from product- to service-oriented organizations!
