Dr. Paulina Prantl (geb. Sierak)

Dr. Paulina Prantl is the head of the "Analytics" department in the Supply Chain Services division at the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits (IIS). Her research focuses on applying artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning in industrial contexts, with a particular emphasis on optimizing business processes such as Supply Chain Management or Production. Together with her team, she is dedicated to developing AI solutions that enhance resource efficiency across the entire supply chain while also advancing AI itself to make it more accessible across industries. Before her current role, Dr. Prantl led the "Data Efficient Automated Learning" group and served as a technical team lead in production planning at BMW.
