CSCMP – Supply Chain Edge Italy

CSCMP European Conference and European Research Seminar are respectively the professional and academic annual conference for the Members of CSCMP.

The talk presents the just recently finished research project iSLT.NET, which aimed to overcome the challenges of container management in the digital world at the example of the German automotive industry. By tackling the physical modularity of the containers, evaluating different hardware smart devices and software platforms and even envisioning new business models, the project team proposed and prototypically implemented a comprehensive solution for the special load carriers of the future. The talk gives insights about challenges, solutions and a specific use case.
